The Happy Hippo
Gramma Judy and Papa Dude were so sweet and watched the babies while they sent us on a fun adventure on The Happy Hippo. The Hippo is a amphibious vehicle that goes on land and water. We drove along Main St. Polson, then took a cruise on Flathead Lake. The Hippo then got out of the water and drove up a big hill and then sped down the hill into the water which was quite exhilerating. Everyone got super wet between the water fight and the big splash. Thanks mom and dad for a the fun memory.
More Slip 'n Slide
Amy and Bryan were so sweet and came and visited us at our house with their new little bundle of joy, Baya Ramona. She is so beautiful and we are so happy to have another cousin to play with. The kids had a great time with the slip in slide, it was just as fun as going to a water park. Abby, Blakely and Shep would make trains and slide, they were so cute!

Slip Slidin' Away
For our FHE activity this week, we broke out the slip 'n slide. At first, Shep was very nervous about it, but he soon warmed up and we had a total blast. I am sorry the video is sideways, I filmed it the long way and I can't figure out how to switch it (I'll never do that again).
Race Day
I have been training to run the Bear Lake Half for the past 3-4 months. Last weekend was the big race. It was so beautiful, we ran on the road around the lake. It was so fun to do it with an old pal, Andee (Durrant) McDonald. I started my normal pace, got alot of adranaline in the middle and went pretty fast and got a kick out of passing people, but all the people I past, past me during the last 2 miles...I totally died at the end. I couldn't feel my legs, it was a mental game the last 3 miles, I just kept telling myself "just keep running" and amazingly enough I did. All in all it was a fun experience, but I am glad it's over.
Bed Time at Bear Lake
Shopping Cart Woes

I went to TJ Maxx to get Aram a Father's Day gift and I left the store with a white shirt, a tickled funny bone, and a near heart-attack.
Shep likes to stand on the cart as I push it. I had just gotten in line and I looked down, and saw my son's very sweet innocent face peering straight up at me as he said "Stuck". As you can tell by the picture he got stuck in the bottom of the cart. I was so happy I had my camara on me.
As we were leaving I had a near heart attack. Marshall was in his car seat in the front part of the shopping cart. I hit a pole on the way out and the car seat went flying. I had Shep in one arm so I tried to catch the car seat with my other-an impossible feat. But, I knocked enough so it landed on the bottom instead of face down. Poor little Marshall. I seriously could not stop shaking for a half hour. You never can be too careful, I am so grateful he was ok.
