Marshall and his cousin Kes were blessed on the same day. The Sloans came down from Montana and we had a great family gathering. Kes and Marshall look like they are really happy to have this picture taken!

The proud parents of Marshall Joseph, and Kes Elinor.

This picture has four generations. Shep's and Marshall's Great Grandparent Ruth and Don Whipperman just returned from their mission in Croatia a week before the blessing. They are so incredible, and are such great examples of serving the Lord.

Winter Fun

Winter is sometimes a hard time to be a stay-at-home mom with a newborn. When it's snowing I can't go out, when it's not snowing it's freezing so it's hard to go out, and then Shep and Marshall got sick so that kept us in for quite awhile. For a family who likes to be outside alot, it's been an adjustment staying home so much. But, we went up to Midway with my (Karri's) family for a snowmobiling-snowshoeing day...it was an absolute blast and happened to be on the prettiest day of the winter-what great luck! We went on a snowshoeing adventure with our cute nieces Emma, and Blakely and looked for animal tracks. Shep and Aram had a great time sliding down a mountain of snow in the parking lot. It was the perfect day! It felt so good to be outside.

He's Sooooo Cute!

Marshall is now two months old and is so cute. He's got a killer smile that melts his Mama's heart.

Big Project

Note to self: When you see wet toilet paper under your bathroom vanity, something is wrong! I ignored it, and two months later we have a leaking ceiling, smooth. Aram has spent several hours (some not so pleasant than others) pulling down sheetrock, hanging sheetrock, mudding, and sanding. It's been a big mess, and Aram has been a big sport!

Future Cougar

The shirt says it all "Look out Cougars, here I come."

Polar Plunge

Crazy Cold!!! It's a Montana New Year's tradition to jump into Flathead Lake on the first day of the New Year. This year Papa Dude, Ryan, and Aram all braved the cold. I (Karri) was very grateful I had a doctor's note from my OB that excused me from my pride of proving how tough I am.

Christmas Joy

Christmas was so fun this year because Shep is starting to "get it" and we had our new little bundle of joy (Marshall) to make the Christmas Holiday complete.

Shep loves to kiss his little brother. If you can see Shep has a horse ornament in his right hand. He actually broke this horse at the store, so we bought it...but, I must admit we were going to get it for him anyways. The tail broke off so Aram kept super glueing it back on but Shep kept on getting it off the tree and breaking it over and over again. So I decided it will be a tail-less horse to preserve the memory.
The chair Shep is sitting on is a true gift of love from his Daddy. We went shopping at Walmart at the beginning of December and Shep saw this chair and absolutly loved it. He lounged on it and wouldn't get off. There were other chairs there, like a spongebob and Dora chair but he wouldn't even give these chairs a chance, this kid knows 'class' when he sees it. It was way out of my price range for a little kid's chair, but we decided he could have some fun and sit on it, in the shopping cart while we strolled through Walmart. It was so cute how much Shep loved this chair, but I couldn't bring myself to spend his whole Christmas budget on a chair. But, a week before Christmas Aram said "Karri, I know what I want for Christmas...I want Shep to have the chair." So Aram went without this year so Shep could have his LZ-Boy. Don't worry Santa brang a really good stocking to Aram.
