Marshall and his cousin Kes were blessed on the same day. The Sloans came down from Montana and we had a great family gathering. Kes and Marshall look like they are really happy to have this picture taken!
The proud parents of Marshall Joseph, and Kes Elinor.
This picture has four generations. Shep's and Marshall's Great Grandparent Ruth and Don Whipperman just returned from their mission in Croatia a week before the blessing. They are so incredible, and are such great examples of serving the Lord.
Winter Fun
Winter is sometimes a hard time to be a stay-at-home mom with a newborn. When it's snowing I can't go out, when it's not snowing it's freezing so it's hard to go out, and then Shep and Marshall got sick so that kept us in for quite awhile. For a family who likes to be outside alot, it's been an adjustment staying home so much. But, we went up to Midway with my (Karri's) family for a snowmobiling-snowshoeing day...it was an absolute blast and happened to be on the prettiest day of the winter-what great luck! We went on a snowshoeing adventure with our cute nieces Emma, and Blakely and looked for animal tracks. Shep and Aram had a great time sliding down a mountain of snow in the parking lot. It was the perfect day! It felt so good to be outside.
